BIBO is a newly developed nonlinear optical crystal. It has the characteristics of large effective nonlinear optical coefficient, high damage threshold and not easy to deliquescence.
Main features:
♦ Broad temperature acceptance angle width
♦ High conversion efficiency of dissolution frequency doubling (9 times higher than KDP)
♦ High damage threshold
♦ Wide range of light transmission band (286 nm-2500 nm)
♦ Very good internal optical uniformity with low envelope
Typical applications:
♦ Double frequency, triple frequency, sum frequency, difference frequency, etc. of dyes and Ti:sapphire lasers
♦ Frequency double, triple, quadruple and quintuple of 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser
♦ For optical parametric oscillations and amplifiers
